It’s a phablet in the truest sense of the term, with huge 7.09in display – making this the world’s largest 5G phone to date and a return to form for Honor. While the company did release the Honor 9X and 9X Pro, there was no Honor 9X Max. Honor has dubbed the launch of the X10 Max, “the return of the big screen.” The phone launched a little earlier than expected, with Honor host a 2.5-hour live stream that also played host to the arrival of the Honor 30 Lite too.

What features does the Honor X10 Max offer?

As was rumoured, the Honor X10 Max is a true phablet, bumping the standard Honor X10’s 6.63in display up to a whopping 7.09in panel and leveraging an RGBW pixel array to help with viewing in bright conditions. This also happens to be one of the first devices we’ve encountered using MediaTek’s new Dimensity 800 5G chipset, paired to either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It’s worth noting that, like its namesake, the X10 Max is currently exclusively available in mainland China, with no word from the company on plans to release the phone in any other markets globally as yet.
