Ever Oasis UK release date rumours: When is Ever Oasis being released in the UK?

After its big reveal at E3 2016, the biggest question from gamers right now is “When will we be able to play Ever Oasis ourselves?” and sadly, there’s no word yet from Nintendo about when we’re likely to get our hands on the role playing game. With no mention of a release window, we assume that we won’t be seeing Ever Oasis in 2016, which points towards a 2017 release date. Could the Ever Oasis release date coincide with the release of the Nintendo NX? Will there be an NX variant? The new system will of course need an attractive line-up of games at launch to make it appealing to prospective buyers. While it’s nothing more than speculation at this moment in time, we predict that Ever Oasis could be released alongside the Nintendo NX in mid-2017. Ever Oasis gameplay rumours: What can I expect from Ever Oasis gameplay?

Announced during Nintendo’s Treehouse Live event at E3 2016, Ever Oasis will put Nintendo 3DS gamers in the shoes of a young boy named Tethu whose main aim is to create a village in the middle of a desert to act as a base for a quest to find his older brother. Tethu’s brother has been spirited away by the forces of Chaos, and it’s only Tethu that can save him from the powers that be. It’s an interesting take on the classic role playing game – part RPG, part management simulator. Think of it as a cross between Zelda and Sim City 2000, building a good enough village to attract wanderers from remote tribes who then accompany Tethu on his adventure, helping the young boy solve puzzles, gather materials to craft new equipment and, of course, battle monsters.

There’s a gameplay video above, giving us a taste of what to expect from Ever Oasis including creating shops where the player can sell items to visiting adventurers. Following the stint in the village, the company showed off Dungeon gameplay, complete with RPG-style battles and puzzle solving that sometimes requires the gamer to switch between party members in order to use ‘special abilities’. Not much else was announced about Ever Oasis during E3 2016, but we’ll update this section with new information as soon as we receive it. Also see: NES Classic review Lewis Painter is a Senior Staff Writer at Tech Advisor. Our resident Apple expert, Lewis covers everything from iPhone to AirPods, plus a range of smartphones, tablets, laptops and gaming hardware.
